Teapots Made in Occupied Japan

After World War II Japan was occupied by allied forces from 1945 to 1952. During this time anything that was made in Japan for export had to carry a mark saying as much. The top is one such teapot. The bottom was made a little later, in the 1950's by Acme China. Both of these examples can be purchased for under $10 at either eBay or at a sale.
