Carnival Glass
Carnival
glass is a pressed piece of decorative glassware made between 1905 and 1930. The
glasses colorful appearance came from a iridized spray process before firing.
This makes it different from the art glass made by Tiffany and some Fenton where
the glass itself is colored. Prices range from around $20.00 up to over $95,000.
When
looking for vintage carnival glass look at the base color of the piece by holding
