couple of Fenton Facts:
The Fenton Art Glass Company was founded in 1905 by Frank L. Fenton and his brother
John W. Fenton. They began by painting decorations on glass blanks made by other
glass manufacturers. Production on their own glass began on Jan. 2, 1907. in a
factory in Williamstown, West Virginia.
Fenton was the first American Glass Company to market pressed iridescent glass
(now called Carnival glass) in late 1907.
