A
smaller version of the poster, and not as popular, lobby cards are 11 X 14 collectibles
which are placed in the lobbies of movie theatres. With some exceptions most had
little or no text. Most have a scene from the movie, and many will have tears
in the corners where the cards have been stapled to the walls of the theatres.
If you run across these at a sale, most should sell for a fairly low price, with
the exception of cards promoting famous movies or stars. A quick check at eBay's
search for lobby cards, found that over 5100 lots were for sale and only 34% had
bids. Take away the cards with Elvis or the Stooges and the number with bids dropped
to 10%.
