Old Baseball Gloves
Here
is an old baseball glove made by Hutch in the early 1940's and endorsed by Bill
Werber an infielder for the Reds when this glove was made. With no lacing in-between
the fingers it is known as a split finger glove and from the 1910's up to about
the 1950's this is how most fielding baseball gloves looked. An older glove might
would have less webbing between the thumb and index finger. Very old gloves have
no webbing at all. Old gloves like these don't command the price that a signed
piece of baseball memorabilia would. This glove for example would probably bring
less than $50 on eBay.
